Hi! My name is Cathy Menghini
As a junior in high school, I moved from Ohio, where I was born and raised, to Norway, MI. My younger sister chose Holy Spirit as her school of choice as a 7th Grader. The welcoming warmth of the Holy Spirit families who embraced us made an otherwise very difficult transition much easier. We simply became part of the family. In 2018, I had the opportunity to come back to this family as the principal!
I have served as an educator for more than 30 years for the Diocese of Marquette. Before becoming the principal of Holy Spirit Catholic School, I was a teacher at Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Iron Mountain for 19 years, and a teacher at St. Sebastian Catholic School in Bessemer, Michigan, for six years.
My husband Joe and I have two married daughters, both graduates of Catholic school. We also have two grandbabies who are our greatest loves.
I love exploring the Upper Peninsula, visiting my daughters and their husbands, reading, and spending time with my friends.
